The Tirana Tour Map: Where Every Experience Starts
Almost every city tour gathers in the compact centre, a short walk from Skanderbeg Square, the New Bazaar and the bars of Blloku. Free walks, food tours and communism-history routes all launch from there, usually on foot. For the Dajti Ekspres cable car you head east to the edge of town, where Mount Dajti rises behind the city. Day trips push further out, with coaches leaving for Kruja, Berat, Durres and the mountains in the north. Pin the meeting spot before you book, since a few pickups sit a few blocks off the square.
Getting Your Bearings: City, Mountain And Coast
Tirana is an inland capital sitting in a basin beneath Mount Dajti. Kruja lies about 20 km north and Berat about 71 km south, while Durres and its Adriatic beaches sit roughly 30 km west in a straight line. The map covers the city tours and those day trips together.
